Marea was started by a small team obsessed with one thing: jewelry that looks like a quiet heirloom but is priced to wear every day. Sculptural shapes, clean weights, the kind of pieces you reach for first.
Marea is based in San Diego. Our metals are recycled — primarily 316L stainless steel and 925 sterling silver — and our stones (freshwater pearls, agate, lab-grown CZ) are responsibly sourced from suppliers who can document where they came from.
Every piece is handcrafted to professional manufacturing standards, with lead-free and nickel-free materials throughout. Gold-plated pieces get an anti-tarnish e-coating to protect the finish. We tell you exactly what each piece can handle so you can love it for years, not seasons.
