Marea started with a simple frustration: every piece of jewelry we loved would fade, snap, or stain within a season — and we were tired of taking it off before every shower, swim, or surf.

We grew up in salt water. The Mediterranean shaped our childhoods and our taste. So we set out to make jewelry that could keep up with how we actually live: in the ocean, at the gym, in bed, on a plane.

Every Marea piece is made from hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant materials and finished with a thick PVD plating that won't fade, change color, or react to sweat, saltwater, chlorine, or perfume.
